About Society
The Society for Young Hegelian and Post-Hegelian Thought was founded in 2014 in Warsaw in memory of the two hundreth anniversary of August Cieszkowski's birth. Cieszkowski was a Polish philosopher, who developed an original interpretation of Hegel's thought.

The society advocates the study of post-Hegelian philosophy and was created out of the The Polish Hegel and Marx Society (founded in 2006 at the Institute of Philosophy in Warsaw), formed as an international project of philosophical and sociological research in areas connected to Hegel and neo-Hegelians.
The main areas of the society’s work were a programme of lectures and conferences, supporting translations and promoting the use of critical concepts in philosophy, sociology and politics.

Notification of acceptance will be given by November 10, 2014.
Der IX. Kongress der Internationalen Johann Gottlieb Fichte-Gesellschaft wird vom 8. bis 11. September 2015 an der UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia) in Madrid (Spanien) stattfinden.
Das Hauptthema in die folgenden Schwerpunkte gegliedert wird, die auch in flexiblem Bezug auf die Fichtische Thematisierung des Bildes gedacht werden sollten:
1. Bild, Bilden, Einbildungskraft
2. Bild und Realität
3. Die Religion und der Begriff des Bildes
4. Das Bild und die ethische Bestimmung des Menschen
5. Das Bild in der juristischen, politischen und historischen Lehre
6. Das ästhetische Bild
7. Die pädagogische Bildung
8. Unsere Zeit der Bilder
Jeder Interessierte muss bis zum 30. September 2014 per e-mail fichtekongress2015@gmail.com den provisorischen Titel sowie die Zuordnung seines Beitrags unter die acht oben angegebenen Schwerpunkte einreichen. Bis spätestens 15. Dezember 2014 soll ein definitiver Titel mit einer kurzen Zusammenfassung per e-mail vorliegen.
Die Klassische Deutsche Philosophie und ihre Folgen
Die Evangelisch-Theologische Fakultät der Universität Wien veranstaltet in Kooperation mit der Internationalen Hegel-Gesellschaft e. V. vom 20. bis 21. März 2015 eine in Wien stattfindende Tagung zum Thema Die Klassische Deutsche Philosophie und ihre Folgen.
Bewerbende für einen Vortrag schicken bitte bis zum 16. November 2014 ein Abstract (ca. 2.500 Zeichen) sowie eine Kurzvita in Deutsch oder Englisch an michael.hackl@univie.ac.at.
The International journal of political philosophy, Crisis and Critique, announces a call for papers for its fourth issue, which will be devoted to the topic of Politics and Theology Today.
In this issue, we want to address questions such as (but not limited to):
The relation between religion and theology.
Is it possible to think materialism from the perspective of religion?
Can religion provide us with the basis for a political collective?
The relation between Marxism and religion.
Articles should be sent in English. The maximal length is 9000-10.000 words. Submissions should be sent to: editor@materializmidialektik.org
